Some types of Pygora have a guard hair. It is desirable to remove the guard hair before spinning. For this reason, we only sell dehaired fiber.

We send out the raw fleece to the processor to be washed and dehaired. The fiber returns from the processor in a cloud form that is ready to spin into yarn.
